Conduit Bending

Course Description

Conduit bending is one of the most valuable skills an electrician can master, and this 8-hour hands-on lab gives you the practice and confidence to do it right. You will start with the math and safety fundamentals, then move to the bender to produce clean, accurate bends used every day in the field.

  • Bending safety and a practical math review
  • Conduit types and conduit bender types
  • Anatomy of a hand bender and the common types of bends
  • Hands-on practice: box offsets, 90-degree stubs, offsets and kicks, back-to-back bends, and three-point saddles

This is a live, hands-on lab.

  • Must wear long pants (no shorts)
  • Must wear closed-toed shoes

What to bring:

  • Safety glasses
  • Safety gloves
  • Paper
  • Pencil
  • Calculator
  • Conduit reamer or screwdriver adapter (optional)
